Space per hair stylist

Hello everybody


How much space is reasonable for 2 hair stylists to work from?

Along a 12ft wall, is is workable to put in two wall units/work stations & a backwash? Allowing around 4ft per section?

The room is 15ft by 12ft. A window runs along the lenght of one wall, opposit wall to this will be a partition wall with door into beauty room. The wall opposit where we intend to put the hair units in has an exposed brick fireplace.

Alledgedly the way to work out the correct spacing between hairdressers is to have 4ft or 1.2m from the centre of one mirror to the centre of the other mirror. This should give them the space they need to work. If you then add the same on either side it means you having a 12ft wall should be fine.
