Hi Geeks.

I just had to share this with you. LOL apparently Sir Richard Branson has designed a comercial space ship that will take passengers 65 miles above the Earths Crust about 50,000 ft and allow the passenger to experience no gravity!!!!! sorry, but what the heck is that about???? I have been cabin crew for years so does that mean I could be cabin crew and an astronaut all in one.

Take a look at this,
YouTube- Virgin Galactic SpaceShip 2 unveiled - 7 Dec 09

would you go on it? I wouldn't!!!!!!!

I like what someone has written at the bottom...'and quietly hidden among the cacophany of rubbish that our society is busy obsessing about real progress is made and a new age begins'.
Perhaps if Tiger Woods hadn't been such a dirty old goat and Jordan had had a few more nights in we would have heard more about it :).
Maybe nothing amazes us anymore with new technology. It is quite a feat when you think about it.

If man was to suppose to land on the moon 40 years ago, then it probably is about time they should invent something for us common people to have a taste of space ourselves.....

At least it is indeed a step forward... and much more interesting than Tiger Woods and Jordon...!!

I think it is really exciting stuff! Being a huge science geek, I hope this comes off when it should. However, at $200,000 a ticket don't think I will be going anytime soon!

I'll have to make do with my images from the hubble telescope :)
