Split nails and short nail bed

Hi!
I've got a client who had a full set of L&P about six months ago, she had really tiny nail beds, I sculpted on her. I did find that she did get alot of lifting and some would come off or break, I don't have this problem with other clients just her! Also she hasn't been to me for a while so has no acrylics left... I will put on a new set, she has mentioned that some have cracked down the middle of the nail plate a little, she did used to have a drill used on the at a different salon so maybe this has caused damage.
Have you got any advice on how to keep her nails on this time round???

How about doing a nno with l&p and just letting her own nails grow up?

if she hasnt had nails on for 6 months it wont be E-file damage as her nails would have fully grown out by now, so she may have a medical condition causing her nails to split... otherwise shes been visiting a NSS and still having her nails filed to bits.
