In a world of my own....
Hiya

Can someone tell me how often I should be cleaning the spray gun (T200) needle? I am kinda scared of doing it because I have been told it is sooooo sensitive - I clean the rest of the gun every day....

Thanks
Janet

Your gun needs to be striped down monthly to be fully cleaned,
put a towel in the base of your sink and add warm water and a small amount of washing up liquid,
unscrew everything on the gun and take all the bits out, (front and back dials)
place them in the sink to soak for a while then take them out and place on a dry towel to dry fully,
then put back together again,
it is scary at first but it is very simple to do,

to get the needle out unscrew and remove the dial that adjusts the amount of solution that comes out,
remove the spring that is behind the dial also,
now if you pull your trigger back it will reveal more of the needle and you will be able to pull it out,
they are quite sturdy as long as you don't drop it,
hth

Hi

I would clean it at least once a week. If you do a lot of tans in one day (say 8 or more) then clean it at the end of that day.

Once you get used to taking it out and cleaning it, your fears will go and it will become second nature!

Thanks guys

Will clean gun tomorrow and follow your instructions.... just needed some reassurance....:hug:
