Stained/Discoloured Nails

Hi everyone,

Can anyone recommend a good nail cleaner/whitener.

I have a new client who has lovely strong long nails but they are badly stained/discoloured with being a chain smoker and years of wearing dark nailvarnish with no base coat.

She would like to try keeping her nails natural but she is very concious of the colour of them. Any ideas?

Get your client to dab cotton wool into lemon juice and then apply to nails.

Soak the nails in lemon juice and water, might need a few goes if they are really bad.

apply some cuticle remover generously to the nail. let it soak in for a couple o minutes and then use your cuticle tool on the nails. much of the stain will come away with the debris as cuticle remover has a mild bleaching effect.
