I really want to use steamed face towels in my facials but havent got a steamer at work.

Any way around this?

We damp them under tap and put them in the microwave then in to a insulated bag :) xx

You can buy a hot towel insulating bag from Ellisons. They recommend them for mobile therapists but don't see why you couldn't just use one at home.

I just have a kettle near me which is boiled just before the client arrives. I decant hot water into a bowl, soak my towel in it, wring out (make sure its not too hot) and then apply. When it cools I just pop it back in my bowl and add more hot water from the kettle if I need to.

Thanks everyone.
This is pretty much what I've been doing but the towels are either too hot or to cold lol x

I've just bought a slow cooker after I read on here that some people use this for hot towels.
Can I ask, how do you use these steamed towels in a facial? I'm still at college, and weve not been taught this yet.
