Was just wondering how you mobile geeks sterilise your equipment for eyelash extensions (tweezers etc)??

I tend to use barbicide but not sure if this is good enough?

You can't get better than barbicide in my opinion!

Barbicide is great, although it can discolour the tools if you leave them in it to long! I find that a bead steriliser is a great option. It takes up little room, and sterilises tools quickly.

If you're mobile, you need something quick and easy - but without compromising on standards. Have you try Mundo Rapid Instrument & Tool Disinfectant?

I love Mundo products. Only use them.

Hi

Using barbicide and Mundo Rapid or similiar disinfectant will only disinfect tools not sterilise them. I prefer mundo rapid though because it works so quickly - approx 5mins.
If you want to sterilise your tools you will need to use some form of extreme heat/steam like an autoclave.

Disinfection will kill all pathogens/bacteria apart from spores
Sterlisation will kill everything inc spores.

So obviously sterlisation is the best form of decontamination but as long as your not breaking skin - Sanitising your tools throughly then disinfecting them should be suffient.
