Strip or not?

Client is picture with hearts on.
Previously full head colourtouch 55/54 and 66/45 = parts. 4%

Now wanting ombre look

Do you think i will ok to but a full head semi over 5/1 + 6/0 = parts and then go in with the bleach 6% to ombre? Toner will choose after.

Or would u advise to strip first?

I thinking first option should be fine.
But would like some advise incase my instinct is wrong xx

Has it always just been colour touch on her hair?

Do a strand test of the ends to see how well they lift, if it lift well,then go with your idea x

Personally I would do a mild cleanse
The colour on top looks more of a natural level 6 then lightener for ends and tone like you said does your client have grey present? X

No grey present.

Previously was black, lifted her to a 5/6. So that has had colour touch on since summer 2014. Only had full head colourtouch twice.

Lifted really well previously despite box colour black.
