hi hun i did just private messege u as well , but dont dispare i have too taken some courses at the carlton before i new about this site !! All is not lost yet , as u have already done your course at least you have a basic grounding and knowledge of the subject . I have never done the nails course tho so cant comment on that but yes some of the beauty courses were rushed especially the ear piercing one !!!! I would advise u to carry on your home study and do your nvq unit thro them as u have already paid for it and then seek further training in nails elsewhere . With nails there seems to be so much to learn and u need to constantly practice preactice practice. With your beauty subjects that you have done there did you find them ok .? I was actually impressed with the 3 day massage course i did but am going to do a 16 week massage training course to at the local college in the evenings to also learn the a+p side . Does your college locally offer any courses u can do ?
with regards to the questions you have been sent for your essential knowledge theres been quite a bit on that on here in the past theres a search button at the top , just type in what info u need hun , Also the yellow assesment book has a lot of info in the back and if u look thro the questions are nearly the same as the essential knowlege ones and it actually lists the info u need . If u are really unhappy tho i think u should phone the college and get a refund for the nvq bit and spend it on a course either at college or a leading training provider such as cnd for nails . hth . feel free to pm me any time if u need help x
