i would have just constantly reasured her that she was fine and that she dusnt need to feel shy.and that you dont judge anybody on the body whatever shape or size!!and also expalin that u need them postions to be done so that you can give her the best service and perfect tan!as you dont want her to be dissapointed wiv the tan.

Most of my regular clients are of the bingo-winged kind, and I honestly feel they're happy to grin and bear the odd positions and extra sprays it takes to ensure they get the great tan they want and deserve.

One of my ladies even has to raise one knee up at a time - balancing her arms out like the Karate Kid - so that I can do a light spray over the folds of her knees, otherwise she's left with a white half-moon shape.

I'm not exactly waif-like myself (poor Aquarius, what a challenge I must be to you) and I'm the same - if I have to stand with my legs further apart because they're so fat, then so be it ha ha ha ha xx

I have a lot of ladies that have weight issues. I think because I make them feel at ease and just get them through the steps they keep coming back. I have ladies that are greatful that I am the only person they have to deal with.
I have been to several spray tanners myself and been disappointed in the outcome as most don't know how to deal with spray tanning someone with weight issues or body folds. Whether it be saggy breasts or an apron on the stomach there are a lot of women with the problem. Even just women with a larger chest often complain that the area under their chest is missed...being that way myself, I know!!!
We can't all put are arms up and have are ****s raise to the occasion. A lot of women after kids have the same problem with their stomachs.
Another area women complain to me that has been missed is the skin fold in the bottox area (the smile lines I call them).
Alot of larger ladies or ladies with body issues are just pleased that you know about their condition and can deal with it in a professional way. I think that everyone think they have the worst figure etc in the world, but it is like money there is always someone richer and pooer!!

I had a lady today who was worried about her wobbly bits, I offered to strip down and spray her with my clothes off if it would make her feel any better (i've got more wobbly bits than her), she declined but it made her relax and we had a good laugh, ok not professional but hey it was hot and it done the trick. Cx

May seem basic but I find that starting at the back of the body gives them chance to get used to being nekid and freezing and so forth without having to do it all whilest staring you in the face .......constant reassuring about what your doing and why without weight/size references...

I have been known to get my saggy tum to show them MY saggy stretched marked skin before now to put bashful body concious clients at ease but I must say they were clients I have known for a long time LOL

I think you handled it BEAUTIFULLY! I'm not a skin geek but every bit of me is wobbly. LOL! You would have put me right at ease. :)

I think clients need to be reassured that, NOBODY is perfect, no matter how gorgeous they may be ! everyone one has got faults weather they admit it or not imo :)

I actually find that my larger clients are more at ease in their skin than the slimmer ones!
I always start with the back too.
I would never constantly reassure clients not to worry about their size etc... cos they don't want to hear you constantly making references to size if they are feeling insecure.
I treat all clients the same and in a professional manner. Once they realise you are professional that usually puts them at their ease anyway.

I have a few ladies who have their 'wobbly bits' and i think they feel more conscious around me because i am slim and they think i will judge. But i never have and i never would.

I always reassure my clients 100% that im not there to judge i there to spray them. And i honestly dont take any notice of anyone's flaws because every single person has flaws im there to do my job and give a friendly service.
