Hi geeks,
I have my own room in a hairdresser salon doing spray tanning, one of the girls likes to be really dark! The highest solution I have is a 16% from sienna x so I added the booster drops to make it around 18/19%. She loved it but wants to go darker! Is this possible? And if so would you spray her darker? Asking because it might look really horrible and she is like a walking advertisement really! Don't want people thinking I spray orange! LOL!
Thanks x

Ive just done a spray tan this morning and because my client said she was too pale on the last one i added some 34% booster juice into a 12% tan she says shes already got a lot darker and i did it at 1.30pm today...i also offer a choice of light, medium and dark so people then know that its the clients choice that they've gone that dark and not that I've made them "orange". What percentage is your tanning booster? would it not of made it higher than a 18/19%? x

It's 34% too, wasn't sure how to work out the percentage after adding drops!
So yeah she was prob way much darker than 18/19%! I think I will put a notice up with information on the boosters and colour results. Have just started using them so still not too sure on it. Thanks x

I've been toying with the idea of booster drops too, only thing is xen tan does'nt say what percentage it is and I'm totally clueless on what booster drops to buy lol
It's really just for me at this stage as most clients are happy with the colour but I always want to be darker :) luckily with xen tan theres no danger of orange because its got olive undertones:) xx

I use booster drops to top up my 14% tans. To be honest you're never going to get a 34/35% tan. Peoples skin have different ph levels in them and they will have a cut off point where they wont go any darker and it's a lot less than 34%.
As to undertones in spray solutions-it's complete tosh!
DHA is a colourless liquid. The bronzers will have undertones to them but as these are washed off anyway it makes no difference to the outcome of the tan.
The quality of the DHA is what makes the tan. If you have poor quality DHA then that's when you start getting that orange look.

Hopefully after seeing the results I will continue using the drops as they are very usefull for the clients who like to be darker. Thanks for your replys x

Ah thats bizzare, xen tan must be really good quality, as I go orange with fake bake, sienna tbh most tan's lol and I seem to go darker with xen tan than any other tan too. Any recommendations for good booster drops? Presuming these have to be good quailty too or I'll end up like an ompalumpa  (p.s had a look at your site, I was out in worcester in Nov, my boyfriends originally from redditch) xx

Now isn't that strange-fake bake to me, always looks like you need a bloody good wash-lol
It's like a dirty brown colour and i found it only lasted about 3 days. I did sample the old sienna x solution and thought it was a nice colour but i haven't tried the new one.
I use Nouvatan booster drops as i use their solutions anyway.
The booster drops are pure DHA so can be added to any solution really. You only need a couple of drops so a bottle lasts ages!
