Tanning help please!

Hi all. I am a nail technician with 6 years experience. I left the salon I was working at at the end of last year to set up on my own. I converted my garage into a treatment room and I'm pleased to say it's going very well. I wanted to learn a new treatment so decided on Spray Tanning. I've been doing it for 6 months now but just can't seem to get the business to take off. I have a few clients who use me regularly but mainly I seem to just do my mum, sister and close friend none of whom I charge! Does anyone have any tips on kick starting things? I work just from home which I thought would be a good selling point (mess at my home rather than yours etc) - do you think this could be the problem? x

I'm just starting out tanning too and we were advised on our course to get as many tanning parties booked as possible but I'm also working from a home salon :-/
