Hi,

I am really hoping to attend the initmate waxing course with Kim Lawless at The Fingertips Centre in Edinburgh next month however, I have a few questions if anyonethat has done the course before can help me?

Do you absolutely have to get the waxing done yourself or can you take a model with you? as i'm not to keen on having the treatment done myself :o

Also once you had completed the course were you able to go out and do intimate waxing straight away or did you need to do loads more practice first?

I trained with kim Some girls brought their own Model. The rest of us waxed each other but kim is fab and she is guiding the whole time so its fine. I think as long as you wax straight after you will be fine:lol:

Kim will put you at your ease immediately, everyone will actually have a lot of fun and laughs whilst they are learning, that is how Kim works. I will also be good for you to feel what your client will be feeling when you are carrying out the service on her. It will help you to learn the techniques used to remove any discomfort she may be feeling. However, as I say there is no 'must' and you will be just as welcome with a model

Also once you had completed the course were you able to go out and do intimate waxing straight away or did you need to do loads more practice first? Everyone is different, you certainly could go out and start your Intimate Waxing immediately, some people like to just get on with it...others like to try out their new techniques a few times to gain in confidence but it is not something that will take you a long time to master I promise.

I start the day by doing a full demo Brazilian/Hollywood whilst you all watch the way that I wax in the real world.

Then, you wax each other with me taking your hand and guiding you through it. If you really can't, or don't want to be waxed, then you need to arrange a model to come along for part of the day.

All of my courses are accredited by BABTAC so you'll be able to go off and get insured to work. It is NOT an automatic pass, because the standards have to be kept high. However, don't worry because if you don't pass, I'll call you after the course and invite you to re-train free of charge and give you all the help and support you need. Nobody will know, just you and me. Sorry if that sounds a bit strict but I want you all to be brilliant and not mediocre. xx

Also would we just need one model?

They can wait if you want them to travel with you. You can bring more than one model if you prefer. xx

One model will be sufficient but you CAN bring 2 if you wish but they will have a lot of waiting about to do. We have a nice waiting area for them with constant supply of coffee, etc, so as long as they don't mind, we don't mind:lol:
