Tinting help

Help. The last few lashes/eyebrows I have tinted haven't really come out as dark as they should.

I'm doing it exactly the same as always.

Could it be that the developer is out of date? I've had it for a year now, but I'm scrupulous about putting lids back on things immediately.

What's going wrong???

My developer only has a 6month shelf life

Aha. Ok. So would that be an across the board rule? I'm using professional beauty system from salon services

Have a look on the bottle. It will have a little dish like symbol with a lid off and a number then M so mine has 6M which means it needs to be used within 6 months of opening

I just checked and it says 24m. Interesting. What else can I be doing wrong then?
