Hi, iv been doing a client for a while and i normally use bleach and 12% roots, i know i shouldnt use that higher strenght on the scalp, a 9% wont lift.

i leave this on for 45 mins, but the toner wont take straight away, it needs a few days to calm down, \9i have this problem with my own colour as its the same)

iv used Goldwell 10v, the toner is excellent on the rest of hair, and also various wella colours.

Does anybody have any advice as the roots are always till yellowish.

Thanks x

It may be because you are using bleach and 12%. Using that mix is quite aggressive on the cuticle so when you take it off that baby is wide open. When you put you toner on opened cuticle, it's pretty much in out and can't sit on the hair. The toner would take a few days after as the cuticle would have settled.

No way around it all the time you are using 12%
