Hi so I’ve recently gone back blonde from red and whilst the bleach and toner took well there is still some slight yellow tones on the roots and orange tones on the main.

I know purple shampoo cancels out yellow and blue shampoo cancels out orange.
My question is how will I manage to tone both with the shampoo?

I’m more concerned about the subtle orange hints (they are subtle too) so if I use the blue shampoo will that turn the yellow a funny colour?

im so confused lol
Is there anything else I can do to help both?
Thanks in advance!

You could apply some conditioner to your your roots, and then apply the blue shampoo to the lengths of your hair.
Or apply the violet one on your roots and then go on to put the blue on your ends. There's no other way to do it really.
You need to treat them like two different colours, otherwise you'll still be left with 2 different colours.
