Top lashes sticking to bottom lashes

I would be really grateful for any advice on how to prevent the top lashes sticking to the bottom lashes when applying semi permanent eyelash extensions. I currently use lash perfect gel pads but find that I can't cover up the bottom eyelashes too much because the pads swell and irritate the client's eyes. Should I try a different pad which can be placed higher or is that a tip/technique that I'm missing?

You could try micropore tape along the bottom lash line then putting your pads on top. Remember to detack the tape first tho hth xxx

Thank you, might sound a silly question but what's the best way to de-tack the tape? x

It's not silly at all u just take a piece of tape and stick it to say your clients forehead so it's not as sticky then place on the lash line xx
