The waxing goes well, but I'm having a few enquiries for shaving instead of waxing so decided to research it a little more.

Facial shaving is easy enough to sort out training etc for Insurance, body shaving is proving a little more difficult. Anyone have any experience of finding somewhere that may be able to help me out?

Thanks
Mat xx

I can't really help, but perhaps if you found a forum for drag queens you might someone on there who either has it done, or does it themselves.
How interesting though, that people should prefer shaving over waxing. Just think of all that potential razor burn - ouch!
Good luck Mat!

Instead of shaving can you not offer veet or immac. It would be better as it left the hair softer and wouldnt carry the same risk.

I was under the impression that veet etc was bad for the skin due to the fact that it is so alkaline and skin is acidic. So it breaks up the acid mantle, not sure if thats true!

It can be if used in a high percentage as it 'peels' the skin in the same way as a high percentage acid would. It won't damage the skin even in high percentages as it eats away dead skin cells and hair and is used as a liquid laser peel in some products.

Obviously daily use on thinner parts of skin will thin the skin and cause irritation.
