Training/Practise Partner

Hi All. First post for me !!!!!!!! In the process of completing NSI training in Glasgow and I am taking every opportunity I can to practise on friends and family. The only thing is, I really cant do my own nails.... I had a big family celebration yesterday and lots of people had fabulous nail (thanks to my practise sessions) and mine were only mildly average. Do you think we could arrange or set up practise partners??? People who are training or requiring practise who can do one anothers nails??? Thanks for reading. Ann Marie

I suppose you could but isn't that defeating the object, when you are qualified your nails will be a big part of your advertising, but you can't say you did them when someone else has done them, the thing with being a nail tech is practice practice practice, it will come together eventually especially when you have had more experience, keep doing your family and freinds and keep doing your own

what about popits? I heard a lot of possitive comments, especially when it comes to doing your own nails. Maybe you should give it a try

Myself I would not use poppits untill you have mastered everything else first, no offence, but poppits are not ment to replace your skills it is really ment for quick overlays, to be a nail tech you need to get your skills first master that then use poppits for someone who is maybe in a rush and cannot wait 1 to 2 hrs. Finish your training get yourself experienced then try them I hope I am not putting a damper on things here just trying to be helpfull, there are no quick fixes when training

first of all let me say welcome from one newbie to another.
I totaly understand were you are coming from hun I know many nail tecs who are proud to wear others people works of art on there nails.

Having just learned about popits today at my refresher course and yes they are great for doing your own nails as well as others and can be used with other systems not just creative products but you would need training on how to use them so if your still doing your training I would get that out the way first.

Any way I stay not far from where you are doing your training and Im always looking for people to practice on and it would be nice to get the favour returned for a change.

so Im up for it if you are hun would give me another change to try out my new popits. pm mexxx
