I am very interested in pursuing a career within the Nail Industry. I completed an evening class at Coatbridge College on Nail Care and have been thinking of Home Learning for Nail Extensions?

I have shown alot of interest in this course

Nail Technician Course for just £356: Study at Home with UK Open Learning Distance Learning Correspondence Courses

but i'm not sure if its the right way to go!

Money is an issue just now and also finding the time to go to college.

Any advice would be appreciated!

Thanks

The high quality foundation courses with some of the big brands in the nail industry are not that much more than the one your looking at but will probably give you a much bigger punt up the ladder.

why not have a look at sweetsquared.co.uk if you give them a call they will send out their information book for you x

Done! Thanks huni x

Also, does any1 recommend the Essential Nails courses? x

Some people will.

A close friend of mine did the gel one and regretted it, without classroom teaching she struggled with almost everything and particularly filing techniques.

Thanks Adele, a friend is already a Nail Tech and has offered help if I need it but its just wether or not thats gonna be a good move!!

So many decisions

I did the EN course and it worked for me, but we are all different and you have to be very motivated to do it, it can be very easy to say oh not today and leave it lying in the box, esprcially if your having a problem with something.
So if you dont have the motivation, or your have to much distraction at home then its probably not a good thing, if you think you could have the time a motivation tho its great hun...I recommend it ..x

Thanks Suzie, think I might give it a go! Im definately motivated so hopefully that will be enough to help me through :) xx

Hi,

I did Creative's extensions acrylic course which was very good, it was £450 so not much more than the one you are considering, they usually do offers at the beauty shows, I got a free brisa gel day by booking at the Manchester beauty show

Good luck xx
