Hi there,

I have been using the above brush from CND and love it. Although I have to wipe the handle a few times whilst I am putting on the product, its seems to get sticky. Do you think this is because I am leaving too much liquid in it? Perhaps I should wipe it on the sides of my dish a few more times before application. Anyhow, the clear handle is looking a bit cracked. Any ideas on what to do with this, give it a quick sanding?????

Many thanks

Mrs T

I did do this once on the center part of my nsi brush...
I used the koala to remove the sicky layer, then used miracle shine and my snow monkey to bring the shine back...
It worked good..I figured well...its acrylic ! lol

im not sure what you mean by the handle getting sticky lol, you shouldn't be touching any product with your hands or the part of your brush you hold, so maybe its sweat or your hand lotion? but I know what you mean about the clear handle looking cracked. I don't have the exact same brush as you but I have a few clear acrylic handled brushes and they all do that after about a month, no worries though, it doesn't seem to affect performance at all:)

On mine it seemed to be where the lid rested...

ive had the same thing happen to me, with the cracks but like someone said it didnt effect the perfomance. my brush has gone stick before and it was because i was storing my brush wrong. i was putting the bristles up (so the liquard was running down my brush, rather than bristles down. and overexposure to crush cleaner from ez flow. (wasnt my fault a girl kept borrowing my brush, and leaving big chunks of acrylic in it) i wrapped round it the stuff that protects your fingers from filing, i forget the name.

hope that helps

xx

ooooo, just filed the handle to a smooth finish, and buffed with a creative buffer. It looks like frosted glass. Very classy. Tks for your help,
