Hello again,

I had bought 240 grit abrasives from a not so well known nail company but found their abrasives a bit soft. I had to throw them out almost after every customer. Now i bought the CND koala buffers again and compared to the previous ones from the other company they feel far more coarse. => big differennce
I had some probs before with my l&p adhering to the natural nail...could it have something to do with this?

When any abrasive is new and unused, it feels a bit more abrasive than when it has been used.

Remember to use all new abrasives with a lighter touch to begin with until they soften up.

When preparing ... All that is necessary is to remove the surface shine, not to roughen the nail so NO, it would not make any difference as long as the surface is clean and dry.

Many times, if I have a client whose nails have no shine, I only just use Scrub Fresh and don't use the Koala at all!! NO SHINE; CLEAN & DRY.

hmmmm...i thought i found the default in my system...
Anyway i won,t give up untill i found out what's the problem.
Maybe it,s just my mix ratio even though i think it,s ok since i never get any product stuck in my brush...maybe i am not pushing the product hard enough near the cuticle area...I have no clue
I am promised some assistance from Anette Claesson *previous distributor of cnd* hope she can help me.

Thx again geeg for helping me, I appreciate it a lot!

Annette is a very old friend of mine and if she can't help ... no one can. She is a wonderful technician and teacher and you MUST tell her that I send her a BIG HUG. I respect her enormously.

I think it may be that you need to make sure you concentrate on pressing the product onto the nail at the cuticle area and down the sides. Get the product into place and then press press press all the way around so that the contact between product and plate is absolute.

Oh didn,t knew that. She is indeed a wonderfull, talented and possitive minded person. She's been my biggest buddy in the nailbussines since I got to Sweden. I will defenitly give her a big hug from you and try to drag her over here aswell. I have told her a few times but she's is/has been very bussy with her nailmagazine Naglar i Norden.

I will defenitly give that some extra attention. It,s just that i have been doing gel for such a long time and switched back to acrylic that i am a bit knocked over. I feel quite embaressed that i am having probs actually:rolleyes:
