Can I use a normal clear top coat on top of cured gel to seal nail art? Or would you use a gel top coat? I just don't want to ruin a good gel top coat with glitter etc

I guess it wouldn't do any harm BUT I'd keep a gel topcoat spare specifically for glitter, as it would probably seal the nail art alot better than a regular topcoat would x

Thanks for the reply I kind of guessed this was the answer!! Thanks :)

I use gel top coat and I wipe the brush off before I put it back in the bottle.

When you Top Coat is running low save it for art work and glitter. Then you are not buying a whole bottle just for art work/ glitter.

Normal top coat will probably peel off gel polish top coat, its not designed to adhere to gel polish, its formulated to stick to the normal polish colour coat.

Keep a spare/old/separate bottle for glitter work.
