UV nail gel straight onto natural nails?

hiya can anyone give me some advise please? im not training or anything i simply bought a starter pack to have a go! lamp is fine but products that came with it not so good. what id like to do is put gel onto my natural nails but after a couple of days it cracked and came off. should i be using a product first that will help the gel stay on my nails? because im not sure of products etc i dont know whats good for what im wanying. any advise would be great thanks.

Honestly, go to a salon or and independant nail technician and ask for a natrual nail overlay. You could end up seriously damaging your own nails and you wont be saving any money.
