Hi,

I've been using Gelish for a while now and someone asked me if they should be wearing uv protextion gloves under the uv lamp?

I looked at articles on the internet and there are lots of conflicting views about whether the uvlight from nail lamps is dangerous.

I also looked for uv gloves and did not have much success. The nly ones I found were on eBay: Bio Sculpture UV Protection Gloves | eBay

Are these essential or could I just use finger-less rubber gloves? I dont want to put myself and others at risk of recieving harmful rays.... however, I do want to have pretty nails! (I tend to change mine once a week!)

Many thanks for any thoughts.

You're exposed to more UV RAYS while driving your car. If she is really concerned, apply a Sunscreen to her hands!
I have clients that have been having UV gels for 24 years and they are fine!
Reassure her it's safe so she doesn't spread any more damaging gossip about the system!

try salon serve ,they had some in last catalodge hope that helps
