I'm just wondering if using a UV top
coat on acrylics helps them last longer or if it is purely for the shine? I've never used one before

thanks

I use glaze n go on every set of enhancements - not just for the amazing shine and clarity but for protection, durability etc. Come back for rebalance perfect, unlike with polish topcoat x

Glaze n go is both aesthetically and technically beneficial. I use shellac top coat which is alternatively a constructive choice due to being hypoallergenic. It's probably thinner than glaze n go and made for a different purpose overall but still...

I use glaze and go to bring out colours especially with acrylic paint? If you do use it be careful not to touch side walls and cuticle with it as it can cause lifting
