Dear Geeks
I have a nail tech coming to work with me soon (yay!) and due to the teeny tiny size of my salon I have been looking at ways to minimise the vapour from the monomer. I have read and noted all the advice on here re: metal bins, only using the required amount of monomer in a lidded dappen dish, not to wipe the brush too much and only use a damp lint free pad etc (many thanks for that guys!).
My query is does anyone use an extraction unit by a firm called Filtaire? If so is it effective? I have no doubt that it will extract the nail dust keeping my tech & clients lungs healthy but I'm just a bit sceptical about it removing the pungent vapour of the monomer?
Any reviews of this gizmo would be much appreciated!
