Hi Geeks! Has anyone tried velvet with Shellac? If so when do you apply and how do you remove the final sticky layer? I watched some of Sam Biddles vids but its advising to use a polish with no sticky layer. Any advice? X

I've done it with polish over acrylic, it lasted a solid two weeks.
If I were going to attempt with a gel type product, I'd put it in the uncured layer, and cure it a bit longer to be safe.You wouldn't want to cover it with top coat, or you'd lose the fluffy effect, but you could put it in uncured top coat. I'd try this on yourself first, to see how long it stayed, and if it cured properly.
