Vinylux with foil?

Hi

I've got three girls tomorrow who are doing a show in work and want sparky nails. I have a lovely holographic silver foil that I think would be perfect but I have only ever used foil with shellac and it's do easy, I have some foil adhesive but do I top coat first then apply adhesive foil and top coat again or do I need the top coat, will it work?

I've done foil with Vinylux and there are some pics in my Vinylux album. I did two coats of colour, waited about 6-1/2 to 7 mins, pressed the foil into the Vinylux, then top coated.

I only did one hand at a time so I wouldn't mess anything up.

Okey doke I'll give that a go so no foil adhesive then?

No, you don't need the adhesive.

I did the same as deanosnana except I did one finger at a time (staggered) so I had time to really press and stick the foil down. Otherwise the next finger was completely dry before I got there haha

P.S was only on myself so I had all the time in the world and it was a patterned/clear foil so couldn't match the colour underneath
