hi all
just a quick question to anybony who is mobile and offers a wax manicure how long does your heater take to melt the wax? and which one do you have? also is it a bath or do you brush the wax on
thanks i know you have a prob been asked this loads before:)

I use my regular warm wax pot heater, turned down with a new metal bucket insert just for the paraffin wax. I then ladle some into a small pot to paint on the client.

This way I dont have to buy or store new equipment, its very hygenic and easy to control temperature.

I have one of the hive wax heaters, just put enough in that I need and I also pour it into a separate container and paint onto clients hands.

I had a wax bath and it just took too long to melt (impossible to wait for) and wasn't convenient to cart about. The one I have now is lovely and compact and melts very small amounts of wax pellets in no time at all (I always check the temp of the wax before using it).
