Waxing during pregnancy

My friend told me the other day that when she was pregnant she couldn't get waxed anywhere - is waxing in pregnancy not allowed? If so, is it due to possible reactions?

Wax away all you want while pregnant. Some women are more sensitive, but other than that, there is no reason why a person cannot continue waxing while pregnant. And everyone's pain threshold is different.
