Hi i am tanning a lady this evening and she has asked if i would wax her husbands eyebrows, she says he gets it done quite regulary. I would have thought it would have just been a little tidy up, all she said was he'll show you what he wants sorting. i have never done this before so not sure what to expect, just out of interest is this quite a common thing for a man.

thanks

Quite a lot of men get their eyebrows waxed now.
Just see what he wants and just try not to make them look too prissy :)

I've done my brothers a few times.

One thing to remember is that men's brows don't have the same space in the middle as women's brows - they need to be closer to the centre if that makes sense.
If he's a regular at having this done, he'll already have a basic outline to follow.
My brother hates the height of his brows, so I do reduce them across the top & bottom to give a more sleeker look, which makes them look wider - as in from edge of eye near nose to outer side - am I making sense??!!

Do you mean longer? No you not making sense-lol

thanks girls, i'm hoping he will still have an outline to follow. If not it will be an experience. thanks again

He obviously has some idea what he wants but generally you can thin out a bit and get rid of the bit in the middle but kind of leave them the same shape as they were don't try to put any different shaping to them or arching unless they want that of course.Men generally do not want anything that looks obvious less is more especially at a first appointment you don't want them to have to put up with 'have you plucked your eyebrows' from their mates.

If it's not too late, go onto Youtube and type in Kim Lawless and you'll see me doing a guys brows at Professional Beauty this year.

well all went great, was getting panicky for nothing. Just a simple tidy up. Thanks for all your replys much appreciated.
