I'm not sure if I just had a client in who had mma on her nails or it was just a poor quality brand.

She said her friend had done the set. They were a natural look with a design painted on with standard polish.
She didn't know which brand She had on her nails.

As I was reducing the length to soak them off there was this awful fishy smell & after 10 mins of soaking in an easy soak bath they didn't shift.

Sounds like MMA to me. When they soak and eventually soften, the become all glue like. Horribly sticky.

One of the signs of mma is a fishy smell, so it unfortunately could be.

i actually removed what i thought was mma nails at the weekend, took me 2 hours in warm soak off bath, and it had a very strong fishy/pva glue smell , never smelt it before but it stinks! so now i know what it smells like and can advise clients, thanks guys x
