Webite not showing in web search?

Hi there I am not very computer literate but I published my website 2 days ago and even when I type in the full address in the search engine it is not showing up, how long does this usually take? I have added it to my facebook page and other ads to try and get more people clicking on it, but im not sure what else to do? Any help greatfull received. Thanks

Hi,

Don't worry, as long as you have submitted your website to the main search engines (Google etc) all you can do is wait. It will take about a month for their search bots to find your website

Google takes a bit of time to index new sites. This can vary from near instantaneously from high PageRank sites to weeks for low PageRank sites.
