Hi there

Have a look at www.pureanadauk.co.uk it's mineral makeup so great for brides! Also really reasonable set-up and no minimum reordering!

xx

Hi

Unless you're planning to retail it, do you have to purchase all your stuff from one company? I have my fave brands but there isn't one that excells at absolutely everything. I like having my own, bespoke kit as it means I've got the best products for any eventuality, and my clients love getting the lowdown on all the latest products.

Good luck!x

wel i was thinking of using a few different brands but i wasnt sure if its a good idea. would you use brands that are in the shops such as maxfactor estee lauder?

Hi there!
Its up to you what you use really:?: I think its always nice to have something that they cant buy in the shops as well. I'm currently using and stocking Anthony Braden make-up this is very reasonable to buy, and is ok to use, but I'm looking at changing to Artdeco now as need a fresh change (want mineral make-up now). Hope this helps :D

Most people who do makeup have a range of products & tools from a wide spectrum of companies, so don't worry about sticking with only one brand.

Also, and i'm speaking from a personal point of view here...but this person is coming to you for a service & i think if your providing a service, it should be with exclusive products that you can;t just grab off the high street. It makes it a wee bit more special if you see what i mean!

I may be talking crap though because that said, some of the staple products used by many MUAs can be found on the high street lol

:lick:My kit consists of about 10 different brands from barry m to chanel i use the best products from each company there are so many new and exiting products out there that there is no way i would stick to one brand its part of the fun! Mac are great for lipsticks and eyeshadows but i use a different company for foundations and again a different one for other things I use MAC bobbi brown screenface cosmetics ala carte Nars chanel dior este lauder(Fab for foundation also!) benefit barry m(excellent for all that glitters!!) As long as you present yourself and your products in a professional way you do not have to stick with one range. Don't forget you can get discount from mac bobbi brown and screenface aswell. x

thank you for all your replys this will help me alot. sounds like alot of therapists use all different ranges then! what do you all find is the best range for foundations and concealers? x x x x

i personally like mac and chanel for foundations, bb & laura mercier for concealers ;)

hi, i use various brands,,, shadows are important , but not as important as the base... x

Well i love revlon photofinish foundation it glides on covers really well and lasts the day , i also use dior and bobbi brown and bobbi brown for concealer.

It is no secret that I prefer a good mix of high end and professional make-up products, unless you are wanting to retail a specific brand. With all the different skin types and tones out there, you want to be able to have a versatile mix of make-up to hand to meet different needs.

A fab make-up site can be found at makeupadviceforum.com
