Well, chrome, I keep trying!

Well....I'm trying everything to get this chrome effect to last on top of gel polish....but really struggling! Am trying all different ways....has anyone discovered a way to make it last....or how do you sell it to clients that it's only temporary for a special occasion!?

Any advice will be gratefully received!

After many attempts & different products I came to this conclusion..
Chrome over acrylics works
On toe nails works
Short natural nails works
Long natural nails with any free edge will crack the chrome & peel as natural nails are too flexible

I have natural nails & only work with natural nails.
So far it's been ok!

I have 2 different chromes. A cheap eBay one which is a little bit courser, this seems to last better.

My finer one, I get slight tip wear. But nothing too severe.

I think the combination of chrome & top coat is the key. Some work better than others.

If it's cracking, I would make sure the topcoat being used is not just for enhancements. Not all no wipe top coats can be used on natural nails.
