So I'm doing half head highlights lowlights tomorrow on someone that's 1/2 head bleach blonde level 10. She wants lowlights to break it up.
I usually use goldwell lowlight 7-8 which contains in build pre pig.

Wanting to try something different and been told 7/73 CT is lovely for lowlighting.

My question is ... Is it ok to leave colour touch on for longer than 20mins because obviously half head takes a lot longer than 20mins to do!

Thanks in advance

It can be left on over 20mins.

But if you're worried about leaving it on too long, why don't you get your highlights in, then go back in and do your lowlights with spatula or use the negative weave as the lowlight? This way you're less likely to get stripes as well.

What's a negative weave?

I'm not very fast at highlighting and always use 7.73 to break up highlights and it come out fine.. You'll be fine
