I go by matching %. So 25%= 1/4 of your formula should be 6N.

This is because we must replace the missing pigment in the white hair & the N,/.0 series has a balanced amount of red, yellow, blue pigment in it. When all 3 primary colors are mixed together, results are always shade of neutral browns through beiges as we go up to lighter levels.
So if we are 100% grey we use only the pure natural alone?(example colour)6/0 or 66/0 alone? Won’t it be too flat?

You can, but you can still mix in anything up to 50% fashion shades and get 100% coverage.
