I have a client: ombre, natural base 4, 1 " regrowth, mids 6/0 (illumina 7/81, 5/81, 2:1 with 9%.) Ends are 9/0.
She's wanting a darker balyage driven ombre with lightness around the fringe, a few fine highlights through the crown, and ends.
I'm weighing options for tinting the 9 back to a 6 blending into a 7 then to a 9.
She doesn't mind warmth, but i don't want wishy washy, kaki, or copper.
I know i can use ct , or even koleston perfect 's pigment lock, but my question is, can i use illumina for the pigment lock rather than kp? I know there is no /00 or /77 in illumina 😕
Has anyone tried this?
Or would the color touch method be the best way to go?
