I started using LA tan recently and so far I am very happy with it. I have done a few spray tans, normally I used either 8% or 10%. They both came out in a really nice colour - nice and natural.

I use it, and my clients and I love it, I use mostly 10% AND 12%, although I have done a few 14% cocktails recently. I agree about the naff logo though xx

What is the fade off on the 14%, need a nice dark tan that fades well, alot of the darker tans go patchy and look like a skin disease lol.:p

I use LA Tan (despite the logo!!!) & I love it. I think its a really nice colour. I alway have a dark tan; I use the fast tan & leave it overnight. The fade off is fine as long as you moisturise well. If I forget to moisturise then the fade off is patchy & not nice as I have extremely dry skin but I find the same with any tan.

i have la tan and love it especially the gold colours, doesnt come off on clothes/bedding etc and very natural, use the 10 gold more than anything.

also i have heard that they are bringing out new logo and branding so hopefully will get rid of the horrible orange/brown!!xx

Hi,

I'm a little confused and hoping that one of the LA tan users can explain to me the difference between the gold range and the regular range apart from the guide colour?

For example, is the finished result of the 10% gold different to the regular 10%? Or is it purely down to the difference in guide colour, the gold being single dip, the other being double dip.

I've tried the regular 10% on me, and really liked it, but must admit I did feel a little ridiculous with the dark guide colour on.

On another note, I've hear that LA Tan are rebranding sometime soon...

Thanks in advance.

Gold is golden shade when developed and the ordinary is just brown. I have been orange off the gold before so won't use it on clients just in case, I stick to 10% and 12%

Ah, thanks Clare_11...that's what I thought.

I'm easily turned orange too, but found the regular 10% really nice. Guess i'll stay away from the gold range too.

Thanks again

I use LA Tan and am happy with it as are my clients.

My most popular is 12%. I stock 10%, 12% 14% and FAST.

I don't use their images at all so the fact the logo isn't the best doesn't bother me.

I make my own per and after care leaflets with my own logo on, nobody asks what solution I use but if they do all they get is the name, I don't have anything with their logo on that a customer could see (I don't take the litre bottles to clients - they stay in the car at all times).

If you don't like the logo then don't use it - Simples, as the meerekats would say.

Not all of LA solutions smell, the fast tan has a smell and takes longer to dry, the gold has slight smell too I think. But the normal ones don't really smell at all, nothing like the curry biscuit tan smell anyway!

No problem. When I got turned orange was when my friend was training and I went as her model, never ha the gold before then and haven't since! The trainer had the gun on high, I was saturated but kept my mouth shut as I wasn't expecting I'd look like an umpa lumpa then next day! Haha!

I have just tried samples of the new LDN Skins solution and it was gorgeous. If you google them you can e mail and ask for some samples. I dealt with a lady called Amy, she is lovely and its brand new and getting really good reviews I did have links, but I cant find the e mail sorry xx
