hi there, had quick wee look at your offers. seems like you are offering loads of treatment for very little cost, are you still making a profit with these prices?

I agree I think they are possibly a little on the "too cheap" side. The worry is you'll make no money (indeed it could end up costing you to run the promotion) & that it will devalue your service in the eyes of the clients. The idea is good, but I think you're giving away too much for the price!

I like the idea but I'm affraid I have to agree with the other posts....

You seem to be giving so much away.

Too cheap, as a client I'd be wondering why you're cheap!
Also as a client I would be thinking if it can be done for that cheap and the beauticians making a profit, then it should always be that cheap.
Is this in a salon or mobile? x

Woooo .... I glad you are not set up near me lol

You are under selling yourself too much there......3 for 10 is tooo cheap....

Cheap is not always good, some people may be put off by the cheapness x

My opinion (for what its worth) is also that you are too cheap and that the offers are too complex.
It seems that you are just drastically lowering your prices rather than promoting a particular treatment

thanks for the replies. i am stuck on what to offer as a promotion this month. can anyone come up with something similiar to what i have posted there? or know of a good promotion? thanks

As Persianista suggested, it's best to promote a specific treatment. As it's getting colder why not think about people's concerns at this time of the year e.g. skin getting drier with the central heating & achey mucles from the cold and target these. Perhaps put a special offer on a nourishing facial, or on a body wrap where the client is going to be wrapped in in the warm whilst they get a relaxing scalp or foot massage. It's always best to use promotions to encourage people to try upscale treatments, especially those that are pertinent to the season (detox in January, perfect legs late sring/early summer etc).

im thinking of doing £5 off facials or adding an extra onto a certain facial. maybe promote hopi ear candling and reflexology. im sure ill think of something. thanks for your help

what about having one specific simple offer and making a big deal of it? i keep the tan on offer and find that pulls people in, when they in i always tell them about other treatments that would benefit them to get them slowly hooked lol! im finding at the mo the tans very popular, any facial waxing, facials and brow and lash tinting. decide on offer and then text it to all the customers you already have, this a brill way of spreading word and gets your number onto their phone. hope this helps.

Personally I favour adding value on rather than taking money off treatments. If you reduce a treatment by, say £5, it actually costs you £5, but if you give something away that is worth £5 to the client, they still get the same in value but it doesn't actually cost you £5.

ok, ive had a think and came up with these:

Eve Taylor Prescription Facial with a Hot Stone Back Massage £40
Spray tan with Free File and Paint £20
Eyelash perm with free eyelash tint £25
Pamper Package – Mini Facial, Mini mini, neck, back, shoulder and head massage £35 saving £11

now im not looking to use all of these just a few. Which ones do you think are best and is the pamper package too cheap, should i just give £6 off it and do it for £40

thanks
