Hi,just interested to know , have seen some Flexi Wrap adertised in the Scratch magazine, can anybody tell me what this would be used for please as I ve never seen it?

people use it to protect there skin on there fingers and there nails.xx

It's used on your digits where you may rub a file against your skin. Ouch!

Ah right,ok its just I get allergic reactions on my fingers from monomer,I was just wondering wether I could use this to wrap my fingers up in after using vaseline on them instead of cotton gloves?
Was just an idea, was wondering if would work out cheaper, thats why I asked what it was for.

It's self-adhesive and is available in a variety of bold colours. Most nail and beauty suppliers stock it btw.

Try using nitril gloves to protect yourself. They are latex free and very though while being flexible. A lot of techs use these. But you have to get used to the feeling of them.

I am hun,but its still getting through,Ive been advised to use cotton gloves and Vaseline too underneath, but havent had anyone to try it on yet, really dont like the idea of using Vaseline, but if thats what a girls gotta do , then so it shall have to be,just thought if I used the Flexi wrap too instead of cotton gloves my hands wont feel so restricted to movement too..

There's no harm in giving the flexi-wrap a go Debbie .... it's not that expensive and if it helps you with your allergy, that has to be a good thing doesn't it?

This may sound strange but its used on horses if you go to an equestrian shop its half the price. I get on really well with it i was using plasters before i discovered it.

Cool thanks for that.:)Think I will get some and give it a try.

AlthoughI HATE pink, I have to order mine in pink to keep hubby from pinching it!:irked:

For whatever reason, bandaids just don't stay stuck on him.
So he pinches my flex-wrap to keep them in place.
Since I started getting it in pink, he steers clear of it and gripes why I can't get it in blue:lol:

It's also sold in athletic shops, not sure what it's used for.....
