As the title states really I am looking into setting up a website and just wondering what helpful tips people may have to setting up thanks

writing clear and concise, no spelling or grammar mistakes! make sure the writing isnt in funny colours, lots of pictures of your own work xx

Being mobile friendly
A gallery is always good
Just real attention to detail why don't you look through the "show us your website " thread and see what stands out to you x

Pictures that aren't stretched and out of proportion!!! AHHHH pet hate! Xx

Deb2208 your website is amazing and so well laid out!!did you do it yourself? :) x

Thank you Mega. I did yes, started with a template then 'colour' and fill it in. I do enjoy working on it, but haven't found much time recently.
Try to look at lots of other sites, and pick the elements that you like, eg colours, font, layout etc.
no two sites are ever the same.
