Hi,
Ive got my training next month which im both excited and anxious about. As a worrier:rolleyes:, ive started to think about what may be expected of me at training. I had my nail trainer delivered today. Can you give me advice as to what i should be practising beforehand, or should i not do anything and wait for me to be trained first??
Sorry if this question sounds stupid, its just i imagine me being all excited and go on the first day, only to realise i havent done any homework so to speak.Gosh, i feel like im back at school. lol!:)

You don't need to practise anything before your training as you may practise it wrong and get into bad habits,
if they have given you a list of what to take with you then follow the list,
my advise would be to wear a smart uniform and have hair tied up or back so you look the part, (educators take you more serious if you look the part)
take a pen and paper for taking notes, hth

If you were coming to my Creative class I would prefer to have you as a blank slate. Basically no preconceived ideas and no bad habits to break.

If you were required to do or know anything then S2 would advise you of that. They tell you everything you need to know before you come to class, as you would expect a first class training establishment to do .. Enjoy it and stop worrying.

I would spend the time getting to know the names of the products and what each one is used for.

I know that I am terrible for remembering what product does what in the beginning as there is usually so much to take in. So if you have a month to go - on and off look at the products so when your instructor talks about a certain product doing a certain thing, you know whats going on and like Geeg said, stop worrying !!

youve paid to go on a course and learn:)

Good luck
