Hi..

Well just booked and now received my confirmation through for my L&P signature 5 course in Harrow for mid November ... Feels like i've been planning this for months!!

Anyway, the letter only mentions about me bringing a picture, pen and paper ... (why a pen and paper, is a course manual not provided?????)

I was also wondering whats appropriate to wear as nothing mentioned in the confirmation. Someone who went on the same course a few years back said that she was ok wearing jeans ... anyone know????

Anyone else attending said course?????

When I did my conversation & mani/pedi course I had to wear "salon uniform". For me thats an embroidered tunic t-shirt, cropped trousers & dolly shoes - all in black.

If this is your first course I guess you wont have any uniform, but what will you wear once you start to work with clients?

I did my course in Leeds and wearing jeans or very casual dress was frowned upon. Our tutor did actually tell a couple of girls who turned up in jeans that they needed to dress more appropriately. Most of us wore trousers or skirts with a nice top or shirt.

Yes you do get a manual but you need to make notes also, so hence why they tell you to take a pen.

Good luck I am sure you will enjoy it x x

I did mine in crawley and it was ok for us to wear jeans!
A manual is provided but as said paper/pad is needed to take notes.
Personally I would give your academy a call just to check what attire is preferred.

Just to confirm what Harcat said, jeans and trainers shouldn't be worn, you'll get a very comprehensive manual, and you'll have an absolutely fabulous time! xx
