Kinky boots, just out of interest what are your top 3 best selling treatments?

I would do 3D eyebrows, as it seems to be the latest Treatment in the market. :)

I do intimate waxing but I only ask them to take the knickers off if they are wearing big pants, for a small thing they hold it to the side. It doesn't bother me if they take them off, I have some clients who prefer to take off even for a basic bikini wax- but for a Brazilian it just tucks everything out of the way for me. I prefer it, but that's just me and I'm sure I'll be jumped on for this but yes, you can still do intimate waxing with the client wearing underwear and get exactly the same results :)

I do bikini wax where its just the sides with knickers on, but they remove everything for Brazilians. I have done friends (close ones) who want it done, but are mortified at the thought of kneeling on the couch with their bottoms in the air. The skill is not only in the waxing, but making them as comfortable and as unembarrassed as they can be when you do it.

I have tried keeping knickers on clients when they are terribly embarrassed, and also don't do around their bottom if they can't cope, but I have found that knickers really do slow up the process, and a little gentle persuasion does the trick. I did a lady the other day who has been having them done for years, and was amazed at the speed I did it, and was intrigued by the new wax (non strip) as she has never had this before!

Ultimately, you have to do what you are happy with, but it has taken me 12 years to get round to doing Brazilians, and I have to say I love doing them, and am now getting a reputation for doing them well!

HD Brows, lash lift or lash extensions and Shellac - saying that, the only other thing I offer is tanning :-/

Tbh, it wouldnt bother me doing them but if it were me having it done, everything on show id be very embarrassed - might just be me tho.. Also, there really isnt any nice/discreet way if telling someone to take there pants off and stick your butt in the air, is there...lol...

I know this sounds stupid but one if the other reasons im swithering is my skin :-(

Thanks, is it an easy treatment to learn? How much would you charge for the set in the picture and how long would it take you? Hope you dont mind the questions.

It is easy, it looks much harder than it is, once you get the hang on holding the tweezers correctly your good to go, it's advised to charge £1 per minute and it should take on average between 15 and 45 minutes this set took me 25 minutes, it's about to take over they are up for an award at pro beauty this month xx

What length of time are your clients getting out the treatment?

I've only had one client who got just 8 days, she had a really oily skin and she swam 4 times a week, the rest of my clients are averaging from 12-21 days, if you meant how long is the treatment taking for me on average about 30 minutes although i have completed one in 15 it really depends how much hair is there, for a completely new brow with someone with no hair about 45 minutes, my first ever treatment took me 45 minutes for someone with just sparse brows but after that I'd got the nack of it and I'm away now xx

Do you also do lash extensions?

I personally would consider waxing as your first step. Then if you feel confident, progress on to intimate waxing.

I am considering adding waxing to my repertoire over the next year, I guess my only concern is that intimate waxing is a big thing and I'm not sure I could ever progress on to that, but that's my hang up. Funnily enough I have had a few people ask me about waxing and quite a few more ask about intimate waxing.

A friend of mine does just intimate waxing and tanning, and she does really well. She always explains it to me that intimate waxing clients, if you're good obviously, they are a loyal bunch. Clients like to feel comfortable with you for obvious reasons. So even if your current clients aren't sure about it, then just think of the new ones you will attract.

As said hats off to everyone that offers intimate waxing, I really don't think it is something I could do.

As you already offer LVL and HD I would look to expand that area too. Lash extensions, brow extensions and so on. I think specialising in certain areas would be really good for you.

I can lash and brow tint and can do lash lift. I have trained in brow shaping on my lash and brow course, but only by tweezering so it's not something I offer. However the route I am also looking to take is something similar to HD brows. I would like to offer lash extensions to complete the eye treatments package, but I'm not sure my man hands would be steady enough. At the moment I just advertise nails and pedicures, but after baby is here in May I really want to add to my services.

Ok. Thanks, quite like this idea :)

So could it be something you could do alongside hd brows - ie, perform the hd treatment then offer the individual hairs instead of creating hair strokes with your pencil?
