What would you do if you were the owner?

hi guys I would like your option please.
I manage a tanning salon but want to train in eyelashes the owner rents out rooms so was thinking about speaking to him about renting one myself. My main concern is what do you think he would say? Yes because I would be carrying out treatments on my own time or No because I would have a conflict of interests ie I would no longer be available to cover the salon at short notice or if needed to work extra hours ect.
If you were in his shoes and a member of staff approached you what would your answer be?

Well your never going to know what he will say until you ask HIM!

If its on your time only - and the spare time your not working you do lashes can't see why that would be a conflict of interest and it would bring in perhaps more peeps to his salon.

However without approaching him none of us can second guess! The worst he can do is say no!

Yes Kate I know your right AGAIN:smack: if you don't ask you don't get but sometime I need a boot up my *ss to get me going. Think im feart to ask in case he says no what happens if you get busy and want to do it full time or look as if I am loosing interest in his company if you know what I mean.

Listen, Don't let him stop doing what you love. If he says no, set up mobile around your job so long as your careful it does not become a conflict of interest.

However if he is giving you a wage to work say 4 days a week and you do two days of lashes you will be paying him money so its a win win situation.
