Hi all,

I am pleased to say that all my practice is finally starting to pay off, and the quality of my enhancements is starting to improve. Loads to learn yet tho.
However..........
My filing is still a bit of a lottery.:o
I tend to use 100 grit to file enhancement sidewalls and free edge, 150 then 180 grit to shape enhancement surface, then both sides of buffer. I use 240 grit on natural nail. Is this ok?
Also which would you say is best for infills and rebalances, to remove lifting? I find it hard to tuck the file into the bits that have lifted IYGWIM

I use a 240 grit for practically everything. I only change to a glossing buffer block for final finishing. With experience you will most likely do this too.

Thanks Geeg, do you use a 240 for infills/rebalances too?

I pretty much do for a normal RB. For a french RB I either use a 180 to thin out or my latest fab new drill from S2. Don't keel over in shock ... It is wonderous for thinning product and very quick and Vicky Peters has taught me how to rrally use it in the most responsible and safe way possible. S2 and their education ambassadors will be holding Safe & Responsible Efile classes very soon with the best efiles in the industry. So if interested give them a call.
