Hi guys
You are probably bored with this type of question but i have no idea what nails to train in.
My research tells me acrylics so this is what i am edging towards can any one advise.
Secondly i have the Carlton beauty school near me and would do my training with them. Is this good or is there better training out there.
Would it be better to be a nail technician covering all types of nails
Look forward to your replys

the more you know, the better for the business.

but you have to be close to perfect in everything, unless stick to one.

Hi, i did my original training at college through NVQ. We covered gel, l&p and fibre glass, which made me a jack of all trade. I then went on to train with CND gaining a masters in l&p.

My point is, doing the NVQ in all three systems give me a starting block from which i decided to follow the l&p route. There was no particular reason for me taking L&p over any other system other than i came to grasps with it quicker.

You say your research tells you L&P, who have you asked and did they say why they choose l&p? Most clients dont know the difference between the systems.
