Hi I am just wondering how do you work out which system suits individuals. I have been using gel for 8 years now, a mixture, of buff off and soak off. Now I am using L&P. Personally my nails like both, but I find soak off gel a bit of a problem for me. So if for instance you are very dehydrated and have very dry brittle nails which system would you use for your client, I think gel maybe to give the clients nails more flex, not sure though, what are your thoughts?

Personally I think the difference between buff off gel and L&P (as far as flexibility goes is very little. I don't use a soak off gel.

Years ago there were big differences between the strength of different products; these days the gap is getting smaller and smaller.

I choose by what look the client wants if she has never had enhancments before and if she has ... I do what they ask me to do. I very rerely prescribe a system becaause of the condition of the nail.

I always use wraps to repair or replace a nail on a natural nail client. Wraps are the nearest thing to a natural nail you will ever get as to strength and flexibility.
